The Charter
Innua United is a collection of autonomous, yet interconnected members and member groups, representing a broad range of organizations, enterprises, governments and social services, who are dedicated to the promotion and implementation of the following ideals, in all that they do.
Article 1 – INTENT
The Intent of Innua United, and its member groups, is the betterment of every person’s life, through mutual benefit. We aim to achieve this, in ways that:

are harmonious with our natural environment, promote harmony in our social environment and are fiscally sustainable;

create adaptive and evolving systems, that inherently promote diversity, innovation and creativity;
-
promote distributed leadership and distributed wealth; and
-
create a sense of community, through meaningful connections.
Article 2 – PRINCIPLES
Innua United and its member groups, in pursuit of the Intent stated in Article 1, shall act in accordance with the following Principles:

accountability;

transparency, equality, equity and integrity for all;
-
quality over quantity,
-
ideas belong to the group,
-
leaders are trusted stewards, they do not govern,
-
governance will be democratic with consensus as the goal; and
-
all systems are primarily for the benefit of the local group, while recognizing the need for interdependence with other local groups, aggregates of groups and Innua United as a whole.
Article 3 – COMMITMENT
Innua United and its member groups, are committed to bringing peace, within and among societies by:

establishing focus on a larger human identity first, before all other identities;

promoting respect and openness for all belief and non-belief systems;
-
encouraging an appreciation of higher values, which form the core of all belief and non-belief systems; and
-
bringing awareness about mindfulness, for a greater sense of individual fulfillment in life.
